Maharashtra Jamiat Ulema President Maulana Halimullah Qasmi Visits Ailing Haji Mohammad Makki Seth in Malegaon

A high-level delegation from the Jamiat Ulama-e-Maharashtra, led by its State President, Maulana Haleemullah Qasmi, departed for Malegaon today after Friday prayers. The visit aims to inquire after the health and well-being of Alhaj Muhammad Makki Seth, the Vice President of Jamiat Ulama Malegaon and a prominent social and community figure.

Key Members of the Delegation

The delegation traveling to Malegaon includes several top officials from the organization:

  • Maulana Ishtiaque Ahmad Qasmi (Treasurer, Jamiat Ulama-e-Maharashtra)

  • Mufti Hafeezullah Qasmi (Organizing Secretary)

  • Alhaj Hafiz Muhammad Arif Ansari (Office Secretary)

  • Hafiz Nooruddin Khan

According to reports, Alhaj Muhammad Makki Seth has been indisposed and battling an illness for the past several days. Upon learning of his condition, the leadership of Jamiat Ulama-e-Maharashtra decided to visit him personally. The delegation will arrive at his residence, “Makki Manzil” in Nyapura, Malegaon, to check on his health, pray for his speedy recovery, and meet with his family members.

A Legacy of Community Service

Speaking at the time of departure, Maulana Haleemullah Qasmi emphasized the deep historical ties between the organization and Makki Seth’s family.

“The Makki family has always held Islamic scholars in high esteem and is renowned for its hospitality. Haji Muhammad Makki Seth’s late father, Alhaj Mustafa Makki Seth, served with distinction as the Vice President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Maharashtra,” Maulana Qasmi noted.

He further added that the family has been associated with the Jamiat for decades, actively participating in various social, national, and welfare activities.

“Alhaj Muhammad Makki Seth’s services to the community are invaluable. The news of his illness has brought immense concern to all our officials and workers. It is this spirit of brotherhood and empathy that drives our delegation to visit him today,” the State President said.

The Importance of Caring for the Sick

Maulana Qasmi also highlighted the religious significance of the visit, stating that Islam places immense importance on visiting the sick. Such actions not only comfort the ailing person but also foster mutual love, brotherhood, and unity within the community.

The delegation will hold special prayers for the quick and complete recovery of Haji Muhammad Makki Seth. Furthermore, the leadership has appealed to all officials, workers, and affiliates of Jamiat Ulama-e-Maharashtra across the state to organize special prayers for his health.
