Ajmer, Rajasthan: The first formal meeting of the ‘Maulayat Committee Markaz -E-Ajmer’ was successfully held at Ataenoor which is the official Court yard of Ajmer Dargah , marking a significant step toward uniting Sufi scholars, khanqahs, and dargahs across India under one platform. The initiative, backed by the Sufi Islamic Board and Sarv Dharm Khwaja Mandir, aims to promote the message of “True Islam” and expand Sufi thought at both national and global levels.

Formed in February 2026, the committee convened its first official gathering with all existing members in attendance, along with several new invitees expected to play a key role in advancing the mission. During the meeting, members unanimously agreed to expand the committee by inducting 20 new members. Representatives from prominent groups, including Maulai Committee Jalandhar and Ahle Bait Committee Delhi, are set to be part of this expansion.

Speakers at the event emphasized the core objective of spreading the authentic teachings of Islam and addressing misconceptions and malpractices associated with the religion. The committee underlined its commitment to guiding people toward the true essence of faith through awareness and dialogue
.
A major resolution passed during the meeting was to bring together all Maulai followers, khanqahs, and dargahs across the country—especially those associated with the spiritual message of “Man Kunto Maula Fa Haza Ali-un Maula”—onto a unified platform. Members noted that many associated with this movement have been actively engaged in Maulayat-related activities for over 15 years and have participated in significant theological debates (munazaras).
The committee also issued a call to Sufi followers and scholars across India and abroad to join the mission and contribute to spreading the message of unity, brotherhood, and spiritual truth.
