Sufi Islamic Board Celebrates Independence Day 2024 with Madarsa Children in 11 cities across the Nation.

In a unique initiative, the Sufi Islamic Board Celebrated the Independence Day with children attending Madarsas in 11 cities across the Nation. Flag Hoisting Ceremony, Cultural Programs and Drawing Competition were held in these Madarsas to bring awareness of the Importance of Independence Day in our lives with a view to promote Nationalism.

These Programs were held in Mumbai & Thane Districts of Maharashtra, Srinagar in Kashmir, Hoshiarpur & Jalandhar in Punjab, Ajmer in Rajasthan, Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh, Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh,


Hyderabad & Manchereal in Telangana, Chennai in Tamilnadu and Ahmedabad in Gujarat. National President Mansoor Khan, National Spokesperson Faisal Banaraswala, National General Secretary
Darshan Ahir, Punjab President Sufi Raj Jain and South India Incharge Salim Shareef co-ordinated these events from Mumbai and Hoshiarpur.
The Punjab events in Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar were organised in collaboration with Sarv Dharm Khwaja
Mandir of Hoshiarpur.
Musharraf Andrabi, the President of Jammu & Kashmir along with a group of Children attended the Independence Day Parade at the Historic Lal chowk of Srinagar.
Drawing Competitions were held in Madarsa Minhajul Quran at Mohammad Ali Road and Madarsa Maula Ali A.S. in Thane. Mufti Shafique, Maulana Riaz and Maulana Irshad were the Judges of the competition.
The children who participated were awarded with participation Certificates. Similar Drawing Competition
were held at Sarv Dharm Khwaja Mandir in Hoshiarpur and the Madarsa of Khankah of Irfan Sabri in Jalandhar where the Judges were Divya Jain and Sufi Irfan Sabri respectively and participatiory Cirtificates were awarded to the contestants.


A Drawing Competition was held in Madarsa E Sakalaini in Bareilly. It was organized by Mumtaz Saqalaini
the President of the Bareilly Commissionerate Division of the Board where Sweets were distributed and
participatory Cirtificates were awarded.
Syed Faiyazuddin Warsi of Gulshan E Warsia Chaman Madarsa organised a Drawing Competition where Certificates of Participation were awarded in Manchereal District and Hyderabad in Telangana.
Noor Mohammed Shaikh and Syed Taha organised a Drawing Competition in Chennai, Wahid Ali organised a Drawing Competition I Anand, Syed Gaffar Fareedi the Gaddinasheen of Ajmer Dargah organised a Drawing Competition in Ajmer and Ehtesham Siddiqui of Dargah Badakshani r.a. of Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh organised a Drawing Competition in which all the participants were awarded with Participation Certificates. Afsar Boxer and Irfan of Govandi, Mumbai will be holding a drawing competition and the Unani Medical camp on the 18th of August as a part of this Initiative.


Sufi Mansoor Khan the National President of Sufi Islamic Board said that this initiative was organised with
a view to establish a lasting impression on the minds of the Madarsa going students about the importance of
Independence in their lives and the importance of our National Pride in these turbulent times where Nations
like Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Iran are trying to export their narrative to influence the mind of our Muslims Masses.
