The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has emerged stronger than the Samajwadi Party (SP) in Mumbai’s minority-dominated Govandi belt, winning all six seats in the area. The results underline AIMIM’s growing influence among minority voters, while SP failed to convert its presence into electoral success in the constituency.

AIMIM has consolidated its position by winning seats in key minority-dominated wards, making it one of the most prominent Muslim-representative parties in the civic body.
