Grand Conclusion of 104th Urs of Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Shah; Anti-Drug Campaign Attracts Thousands
NAGPUR 12 July 2026 :
The 104th annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Shah (r.a.) at Bada Tajbagh, Nagpur, successfully concluded, marking a massive milestone not just in spiritual devotion, but in social reform. Over the course of the festival—which drew more than 60 lakhs of pilgrims from across the nation and abroad—a highly impactful Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat campaign was successfully executed.

The anti-drug campaign was organized as a joint initiative by the Sufi Islamic Board (SIB) and the Khuddam Dargah Trust, the apex body of the Khuddam Hazrat of the Dargah in collaboration with Mybharat an initiative of Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of India. Recognizing the immense reach of the annual congregation, the organizations seamlessly blended spiritual devotion with a powerful civic message, steering the youth toward a drug-free lifestyle and the shared vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
A dedicated awareness camp, strategically placed in front of the Dargah premises, served as the nerve center for the four-day drive. Volunteers and community leaders engaged with thousands of young pilgrims, providing vital counseling on the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of youth contribution to nation-building. This camp was placed just next to the office of Khuddam Dargah Trust from where the activities took place.

Key Highlights of the Completed Campaign:
Mass Anti-Drug Pledge: In a deeply moving display of solidarity, thousands of youths stood before the holy Dargah to take a formal Nasha Mukti pledge, vowing to stay away from drugs and help build a healthier nation.
Widespread Literature Distribution: Thousands of educational pamphlets and informational booklets detailing the Nasha Mukt Bharat mission were distributed to visiting devotees.
Sufi Hospitality (Langar): Embodying the core Sufi values of compassion and community service, the camp served traditional langar (blessed meals) and sweets to thousands of pilgrims throughout the four days.
Mansoor Khan, National President and Darshan Ahir the GS of the Sufi Islamic Board and the Khuddam Dargah Trust represented by Khadims Sayyed Mobin Taji, Naeim Taji, Zameer khan, Akram Taji, Montu khan Sohail Taji, Nisar Khan, and Shameer khan expressed deep gratitude to the local administration, volunteers, and the lakhs of devotees whose overwhelming cooperation made the initiative a resounding success. They noted that using the platform of the Urs for social welfare has set a powerful precedent for future spiritual gatherings, demonstrating that faith and social responsibility walk hand in hand.
