As a proud partner spiritual organisation of MY Bharat since 2025, the Sufi Islamic Board joined this historic national movement with full enthusiasm and organisational strength. Under the leadership of National President Shri Mansoor Khan, SIB chapters, state units, youth volunteers and affiliated institutions across India — including Maharashtra, Kerala, Assam, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and other regions — organised and participated in local pledge ceremonies, awareness sessions and virtual linkages with the national programme. SIB volunteers facilitated the live screening of the Prime Minister’s address, administered the Nasha Mukti Pledge, and mobilised large numbers of young people from educational institutions, Sufi dargahs, community centres and youth clubs. The Board reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat mission, which it has been actively advancing through multiple programmes since its formal onboarding with MY Bharat. Previous SIB initiatives under this campaign have included large-scale pledge drives, interfaith conclaves, awareness seminars (including in prisons), and community outreach in partnership with educational institutions and other spiritual organisations.National President Mansoor Khan stated:

“The message of Sufism is love, service and purity of body, mind and soul. Substance abuse destroys the potential of our youth and weakens the nation. We stand firmly with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of a Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat. Our volunteers across the country will continue to work every Sunday for the next 100 weeks to spread awareness, guide youth towards healthy and spiritual lifestyles, and contribute to building a strong, developed and drug-free India by 2047. Bhartiyata Zindabad!”The Sufi Islamic Board views this 100-week Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan as a golden opportunity for collective action involving spiritual organisations, educational institutions, civil society and youth to eradicate the menace of drugs, which not only ruins individual lives and families but also poses a serious challenge to national security and progress.About Sufi Islamic Board
